We had our first organizer call where we discussed our plan for organizing! Plus we recieved our first donations!! (We were the first city to get sponsor money)

Had first call w/ potential venue.
Summary
In January we had our first group call where we met to discuss our vision for the game jam and created goals for how much progress we would make weekly. After discussing our goals and organizing our approach, we started getting responses from venues and sponsors and began having calls with potential venues. We began recieving donations from sponsors and managing our expsenses, posting on socials to market the event and increasingly reaching out to venues and sponsors to support our event
